The Defenestration of Mary Margaret

Solveig (player character) is out to ruin the reputation of Mary Margaret and oust her from Big George's friend group. Using her ability to spread untraceable gossip, she will destroy Mary's image in George's eyes.

CONTROLS:

• Options Menu (During Gameplay) - ESC key

Gameplay:

Navigate the party, listen to conversations, spread rumors by interacting with characters, and watch the rumors spread.

There are 5 rules of spreading rumors (visible on your journal):

1. A rumor can only be started when someone is alone.
2. A rumor will only spread via a pair.
3. A rumor will only spread if someone is interested.
4. A rumor will be forgotten by the spreader once they try to pass it on.
5. A successful rumor is one that reaches George.

Listen in on a conversation to completion and useful notes will be added to your journal (J Key).

Full Screen toggle, Volume Slider, and Difficulty Slider can be found in the options menu (Options button in Main Menu, ESC key during gameplay)

WIN CONDITION:

Spread rumors to Big George. The number of rumors required to win can be modified in the options to decrease or increase difficulty. For a normal playthrough, we recommend starting with 4 required rumors. A 2 required rumors setting is best suited for a quick run. In order to view all the interactions the game has to offer, increase the required rumors to the maximum, 6. NOTE - the number of required rumors to win can be changed at any time. If you lower the number to below what you have successfully spread, you will still need to spread 1 additional rumor before the win condition will be met.
